PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear body structure of a vehicle capable of reinforcing a suspension mounting part without narrowing the cabin space. SOLUTION: The load applied from a road surface when the vehicle is running, is transmitted to a suspension tower reinforcement 28 and a wheel house panel 26 through a suspension, out of illustration. The suspension tower reinforcement 28 and the wheel house panel 26 are going to deform in such a way as falling down to the left and right viewed from ahead of the vehicle starting at the mounting part to a side member 14. However the load applied to the suspension tower reinforcement 28 is transmitted to a cross-member 40 by a brace 34 coupled with the bottom of the suspension tower reinforcement 28. This prevents the suspension tower reinforcement 28 from a fall-in deformation without narrowing the cabin space, and further, heightens the twisting rigidity of the vehicle body, to lead to enhancement of the maneuvering stability and the habitability.
