PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner to prevent heating of cooling air in MAX-COOL and never to block a heat exchanger for heating and a hot air route in MAX-HOT. SOLUTION: An air mix door 31 is constituted to slide and move between a first position where a door main body 32 totally closes the air upstream side of a heater core 14 and totally opens a by-pass passage 17 and a second position where the door main body 32 totally closes the by-pass passage 17 and totally opens the air upstream side of the heater core 14. It is devised so that a blocking part 33 blocks at least a part of a hot air passage 18 when the air mix door 31 is arranged at the first position by extending the blocking part 33 to the side of the hot air passage 18 through the by-pass passage 17 from the door main body 32.
