PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with high-magnification zoom or the like in which a large shift amount of a correction lens is required and to enhance image blur correcting accuracy. SOLUTION: The image blur correcting device is equipped with: a motor-driven actuator 54 having coils 88 and 91 and magnets 67a and 67b; a moving frame 51 in which the correction lens 15 is fixed; and a fixed base 53 on which the moving frame 51 is supported. The correction lens is moved in first and second directions X and Y by the motor-driven actuator, and the optical axis of the correction lens is controlled so as to be aligned with the optical axis of a lens system, to correct image blur. The device is provided with first and second Hall elements 94 and 95 detecting position information of the correction lens in the first and the second directions by detecting the magnetic force of the magnets. The first and the second Hall elements are arranged so that almost centers of magnetic force detection parts may face to positions where they are superposed on the edges of the magnets in directions where they are rotated and displaced at a proper angle on the same plane in the first and the second directions, and so that the magnetic force detecting directions of the first and the second Hall elements may be directions orthogonal to directions where the edges are extended.
