<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency power combiner capable of, when any of power amplifiers is broken during parallel running, safely replacing the broken power amplifier. <P>SOLUTION: The high-frequency power combiner has n input ports 11 to 1n through which output powers are input from power amplifiers PA1 to PAn (n is a positive integer of 2 or more), and variable reactance elements 21 to 2n whose reactance components can be changed for the respective input ports 11 to 1n. The variable reactance elements 21 to 2n are all connected to a transformer combination point 51 via a transmission line paths 41 to 4n having line lengths which are an odd multiple of 1/4 of an input power wavelength. By changing the reactance component of the variable reactance element connected to any input port which receives an output power of the broken power amplifier depending on the situation, the input port can be continuously switched from total transmission to total reflection.
