LIGHTWEIGHT PELLETIZED MATERIALS

Pellets include a snythetic, biomass, mineral, or polymer based material. The pellets have a specific gravity of about 0.01-0.3 g/cm³; a thermal insulation R-value of at least about 2-4; and a sound attenuation factor (STC) of at least about 30. The pellets are coated, dimensionally stable, substantially dust-free, substantially non-hygroscopic, and resistant to settling and compression.
