<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for checking operation of a microprocessor. <P>SOLUTION: The processor operation check system comprises: a processor 1; and an operation check circuit 2 which checks operation of the processor 1. The processor 1 outputs a status switch signal 32 indicating status transition to the operation check circuit 2 when a program under execution performs transition from a status defined beforehand to the other status, and outputs a status signal 33 indicating a current status to the operation check circuit 2. The operation check circuit 2 has: a combination logic circuit 21 which computes a new status that the processor 1 should take from a status register 22 which stores the status of the processor 1, the stored status of the processor 1, and the status change signal 32; and a comparison circuit which checks the operation of the processor 1 by comparing the computed new status which the processor 1 should take and the status of the processor 1 input as the status signal 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
