<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support member for making the total length of a helical extension spring act as a spring and relieving the stress concentration. <P>SOLUTION: The support member 17 includes a first locking member 17a to lock one end 20a of a wire rod 20 to a predetermined position in either case of expansion or non-expansion of the helical extension spring, second locking members 17b, 17c to lock a first portion 20b and a second portion 20c to the predetermined position only in expansion, and a third locking member 17d to lock a third portion 20d to the predetermined position only in expansion of the helical extension spring, and to lock a fourth portion 20e to the predetermined position only in non-expansion. When the helical expansion spring is expanded, firstly the first portion 20b is brought into contact with the second locking member 17b, and secondly the second portion 20c and the third portion 20d are brought into contact in this order with the second locking member 17c and the third locking member 17d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
