PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material superior in surface film properties and giving high image quality. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material has, on one surface of a support, an image forming layer containing at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder and a non-photosensitive layer on the image forming layer side of the support, and has a non-photosensitive back layer on the other surface of the support, wherein the image forming layer contains≤1.5 g/m<SP>2</SP>of applied silver, the non-photosensitive back layer contains a matting agent having an average particle size of 3-15μm and hollow particles having an average particle size of 0.1-10μm, and the heat developable photosensitive material has a haze value of≤30%.
