PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam that can easily couple only conversion light and has a high reliability by reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: A laser beam generator 10 including at least a semiconductor laser 1 and a second harmonic generation element 2 for converting the wavelength of fundamental light emitted from the semiconductor laser 1 is configured so that the fundamental light emitted from the second harmonic generation element 2 and the conversion light are introduced to a SELFOC lens 3 and the conversion light is collimated and emitted.
