A control method of a high voltage relay of a hybrid vehicle is provided to prevent a deterioration phenomenon of a relay by switching off the relay in consideration of a state of the vehicle. A control method of a high voltage relay of a hybrid vehicle comprises the following steps of: initializing a relay controller to operate the relay located between a battery and an inverter(10); performing sequences according to operation or pause of the vehicle(20); and performing relay off sequence according to kinds of errors when the error occurs in a normal mode relay control step(30).
