<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin optical film which causes no defect in an early stage of manufacturing of the film. <P>SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin is molted extrusively into a sheet form with a mold, and is passed through the gap between a first roll R1 and a second roll R2 which are approximately horizontally disposed and have a different preset temperature. In the method for manufacturing the thermoplastic resin optical film, the mold, the first roll and the second roll are disposed so that the angle θ formed by the sheet-like film which is extruded from the mold until coming in contact with the first or second roll with a vertical plane 3 including the gap between the first roll and the second roll may satisfy 2°≤θ≤20° when cooling the thermoplastic resin by externally contacting the second roll. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
