PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture for visible light communication which is hardly interfered by external light, and a visible light communication illumination system comprising the same.

SOLUTION: There are included a light source 2 for illumination which is emitted in a visible light area, and a flickering control means 6 which transmits light while controlling flickering of the light source 2 based on communication information and further, an external light sensor 4 is provided which detects external light illuminance. At the same time, a dimming means 5 is provided which increases an output level of the light source 2 if the external light illuminance detected by the external light sensor 4 is a preset threshold value Lsh or more.
