PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning apparatus capable of shortening a time to a normal operation.SOLUTION: In an air conditioning apparatus, a refrigerant circuit is constituted by interconnecting an outdoor unit 100 and an indoor unit 200 by piping. The outdoor unit 100 includes: a compressor 2 driven at a variable frequency and compressing and discharging a refrigerant; a switching device 6 for switching a flow passage of the refrigerant; an outdoor heat exchanger 1 performing heat exchange between outdoor air and the refrigerant; an outdoor fan 4 driven at a variable rotational frequency and making the outdoor air pass through the outdoor heat exchanger 1; a rotational frequency sensing means 120 sensing the rotational frequency of the outdoor fan 4; and an outdoor control device 110 for performing control to conduct a preliminary operation until the rotational frequency of the outdoor fan 4 becomes a rotational frequency enabling starting and motion of a normal operation is started by starting the outdoor fan 4, on the basis of a rotating direction of the outdoor fan 4 and an operating mode, when determining that a rotational frequency at start of an operation is a predetermined rotational frequency or more. |
