A method and a system for outputting a calendar by using a device, and a device for the same are provided to enable a user to output the calendar conveniently in the device by using a markup language capable of designating a style such as XHTML print data. A method for outputting a calendar by using a device comprises the following steps of: generating XHTML(eXtensible Hypertext Markup Language) data of the calendar by using an XHTML template regulating a layout, and transmitting the generated XHTML data to an image forming apparatus(10); and outputting the calendar by analyzing the transmitted XHTML data(12).
