PURPOSE:To reduce cost through the omit of a photodetection section of a device remote control by providing an infrared ray remote control photodetector unit attachable/detachable to/from a learning remote controller main body. CONSTITUTION:The learning remote controller consists of a removable infrared ray remote control photodetector unit 10 and a learning remote control main body 20. The removable infrared ray remote control photodetector unit 10 is attachable/detachable to/from the learning remote control main body 20 and removed from the learning remote control main body 20 in the case of conventional use not implementing learning/storage. Then the removed infrared ray remote control photodetector unit 10 is used for a photodetection section of various devices (AV equipment such as video camera, VTR, television set or CD player) controlled remotely. |
