A bearing block (12) is used to support a building element (10), in particular a building element subject to different loads, on a bearing body (14), when alignment errors and/or relative movements are to be expected because of possible deformations of the building element, in particular tilting and/or sliding movements. The bearing block (12) has a load receiving part (16) to be secured on the bearing body (14) or the building element (10) and a supporting part (18) which rests on the load receiving part (16). The bearing block (12) is characterised in that at least one layer of balls (48) is provided between the load receiving part (16) and the supporting part (18), and in that preferably at least one anchoring arrangement (50) is provided which allows for alignment errors or relative movements within predetermined limits, but which prevents the load receiving part (16) and the supporting part (18) from accidentally separating from each other. |
