PURPOSE:To provide a biological activity current source estimating device which suppresses the estimated dispersion of physical quantity of a current source and hard to receive the influence of a noise even when it is mixed in a measured magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:A micro magnetic field from the biological activity current source of an examinee M is measured by a multi-channel SQUID sensor 1, and magnetic field data is stored in a data collection unit 5. A data analysis unit 8 assumes a lattice point group in the diagnostic object area of the examinee M uniformly, and finds a current source on each lattice point by a method of linear least square using a condition to minimize the sum of the square error of a calculated magnetic field and a measured magnetic field and the sum of squares with weight of the current source. When such sum is shown in a value other than the minimum value in a global point of view, another lattice point is made to approach the lattice point in which a current source with large value out of calculated current sources exists, and the current source on each new lattice point is found similarly. When the sum is minimum, the current source in accordance with the sum is estimated as a true current source. |
