<p>PURPOSE:To provide a fixing structure of a heavy substance in an iron head in which the heavy substance can be fixed extremely firmly and securely in the iron head only by pressing-in the heavy substance into an insertion hole made in the iron head and the gravitational center of the head can be shifted closer toward the toe side and transferred to the lower position. CONSTITUTION:A hollow 8 widened toward the bottom is provided in the depth of an insertion hole 7 for a heavy substance, which is made at the toe 5 side of an iron head 1 and further, caulking protrusions 9 are provided at the bottom. Besides, the heavy substance 10 has at least a cylindrical part 11a at the front end thereof and the heavy substance is pressed in the insertion hole 7. The cylindrical part 11a is widened by the caulking protrusions 9 to caulk the substance in the hollow 8. In this way, the heavy substance 10 is fixed in the iron head 1.</p> |
