FIELD: automotive industry; engines. SUBSTANCE: electric car has diesel internal combustion engine with clutch, propeller shaft, differential and axle-shafts of driving wheels, electric generator, storage batteries, energy converters, fuel and water pumps, tank with diesel fuel, computer to control operation of devices of internal combustion engine. Diesel engine is made in form of rotary engine with one combustion chamber connected with row of expansion chamber through valve and distributing chamber. Expansion chamber is overlapped by shutter installed in rotor guides. Rotary internal combustion engine is connected to front wheels of electric car and to electric generator through clutches. Power rating of electric generator is equal to part of power output of rotary engine sufficient for charging the batteries. Electric generator is connected to storage batteries and electric motors installed on rear wheels of electric car. Electric motors are furnished with regenerative braking devices connected to storage batteries. Storage batteries whose capacity is several times greater than that of car are connected to wheel electric motors through energy converter. EFFECT: increased efficiency of car engine unit, increased specific power output, improved cross country capacity of car and decreased air pollution in towns. 2 cl, 8 dwg |
