PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition containing PET, having improved hydrolysis resistance and a sufficient strength, and suitable for bathtubs capable of being recycled and produced at low costs. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic composition comprises a thermoplastic polyester resin, an epoxy resin having an average epoxy equivalent of 80-1000 and a curing agent used for the epoxy resin. Therein, the epoxy resin is contained in an amount of 1-10 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the thermoplastic polyester resin, and the curing agent is contained in an amount of 0.1-10 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the epoxy resin. The thermoplastic composition is melted with a monoaxial extruder and subsequently molded with a press molding machine to obtain a bathtub having a prescribed shape. |
