PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold assembly not generating the damage of a core in molding and withstanding long-term use, capable of certainly transferring the surface state of the core to the surface of a molded product and high in the degree of freedom of the arranging position of the core in a mold part. SOLUTION: A mold assembly for molding a thermoplastic resin is equipped with a first mold part 10 and a second mold 12 (a), the core 17 (b) arranged in the first mold to constitute a part of a cavity 16 and having a thickness of 0.1-10 mm and a molten thermoplastic resin introducing part 15 (c) and a core coating part 14 is provided in the second mold part 12 and, in mold clamping, the clearance (C11 ) between the core 17 and the core coating part 14 (A) is 0.03 mm or less and the overlap quantity (ΔS11 ) of the core coating part 14 to the core 17 (B) is 0.5 mm or more and the heat conductivity of a material constituting the core 17 is 2×10<-2> cal/cm.sec deg.C. |
