PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition that gives molded products and the like having excellent heat resistance, gas barrier properties and the like by using a specific polyethylene terephthalate and a specific ethylene naphthalate resin. SOLUTION: The objective composition comprises (A) 99-60 wt.% of a linear polyethylene terephthalate resin that has the main recurring units of ethylene terephthalate, and contains >=85 mol.% of terephthalic acid as a dicarboxylic acid component, >=85 mol.% of ethylene glycol and 1.0-5.0 mol.% of diethylene glycol as the glycol components and (B) 1-60 wt.% of a linear polyethylene naphthalate resin that has the main recurring units of ethylene 2,6- naphthalenedicarboxylate, and contains >=85 mol.% of 2,6- naphthalenedicarboxylic acid as a dicarboxylic acid component, >=85 mol.% of ethylene glycol and 1.0-5.0 mol.% of diethylene glycol as the glycol components and gives molded products having excellent transparency and the like. |
