PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and surely provide a telephone set dialing by recognizing a voice signal and switching a telephone number recognition state of the telephone set that can make dialing the telephone number recognized in voice into a toll station number, a local station number and a subscriber telephone number recognition states. SOLUTION: A voice recognition section 12 for recognizing a user voice picked up by a microphone 11 provides an output of the recognized voice to a control section 3. A voice synthesis section 21, that converts data into a voice signal, synthesizes an output from the control section 3 and provides an output to a loudspeaker 22. The speaker 22 reproduces a voice synthesized instruction from the control section 3 as a sound to deliver it to the user. Input processing of the telephone set is classified into an operation of recognizing entered numbers of a toll station number and a subscriber number or the like and of making dialing, and the operation of recognizing an input instruction of dialing or registration or the like and processing it. The telephone numbers is sequentially inputted by categories and becomes diable at the completion of input.
