The oscillation frequencies of an oscillator (12) in a wave therapeutic apparatus (10) are selected by a frequency controller (18) according to the kind of disease, and the waves of the frequencies are successively selected one by one from the low frequency side and oscillated for a predetermined period of time. As the waves, a low-frequency current is produced from a therapeutic electrode (14) and an indifferent electrode (16), electromagnetic waves are produced from oscillation coils (14 and 14A), and sonic waves are produced from a sonic wave oscillator (62) and a body sonic device (64), simultaneously or separately, and applied to a human body.
