<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a step between an electric car station platform and the floor surface of an electric car. SOLUTION: When the electric car 10 stops and before an access door 14 is opened, the platform 18 is gradually raised, while sounding an alarm device 16, by an actuator installed on the underside of the platform to a position where the step between the platform 18 and the floor surface 20 of the electric car is reduced at least to such an extent that a problem is not caused. When the step is reduced to such an extent that at least the problem is not caused, the access door 14 is opened. After the electric car 10 leaves the platform, the platform 18 is gradually lowered to a normal height while sounding the alarm device 16.</p> |
