<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system, its method and providing medium, capable of saving an installing cost by unnecessitating a private terminal at a store and capable of performing settlement safely by preventing illegal use. SOLUTION: Not only a user owns an IC card but also a merchandise selling side (store side) owns a store IC card 102. The merchandise selling side carries this store IC card 102 to a user's residence, etc., to authenticate the store by using a portable reader/writer, e.g. being a private terminal owned by the user and to perform normal transaction by using a normal IC card 101 for a user. Thus, the private terminal is unnecessitated at the store to save the installing cost and illegal use is prevented to perform settlement safely.</p> |
