PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oven using a revolving antenna of a shape with a high designing freedom, and adjusting impedance matching and directivity independently. SOLUTION: The microwave oven is provided with a heating chamber 11, a magnetron 13, a waveguide 15 coupling the heating chamber 11 and the magnetron 13 and transmitting microwave, and a revolving antenna 30 pivotally supported in free rotation by a support axis 18 at a power-feeding port 16 jointing the waveguide 15 and the heating chamber 11 and stirring and irradiating the microwave transmitted from the waveguide 15 to the heating chamber 11 in the heating chamber 11. The revolving antenna 30 is to consist of a microwave irradiating member 31 equipped with an irradiating port 31a of the microwave at a position where impedance matching can be made, and a directivity adjustment member 33 fitted to the microwave irradiating member 31 through an insulator 32 shielding microwave progressing from the feeding port 16 toward a direction different from that headed for the irradiating port 31a.
