FIXTURE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixture by which heat radiation efficiency of heat generated when a light source emits light is further enhanced and to provide a liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: The fixture 2 consists of a metal member 7 fixed to a side surface 1a of a liquid crystal display unit 1 and a heat radiation member 9 intervening between the metal member 7 and the side surface 1a of the liquid crystal display unit 1 and having thermal conductivity higher than that of the metal member 7. The heat radiation member 9 has a contact part 9a coming into contact with the side surface 1a of the liquid crystal display unit 1 and a heat radiation part 9b provided extended from the contact part 9a so as not to be superposed on the side surface 1a.
