<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a rear-side electrode type novel solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: A solar cell manufacturing method includes the steps of coating a front surface of a semiconductor substrate with a dispersing agent containing either a p-type dopant or an n-type dopant, performing heat treatment on the dispersing agent to solidify the dispersing agent, partially removing and patterning the solidified dispersing agent, and dispersing the dopant from the patterned dispersing agent to form a dispersion layer on the front surface of the semiconductor substrate.
