<p>This invention relates to a method of producing a composite object with an infused metal surface, where a thermal spray metal material layer (10) is applied (8) to a release agent (6) coated pattern (4), mold or tool face (2), followed by a composite backing structure (14). The composite backing structure (14) can be produced by resin infused fiber or similar filler. The thermal sprayed material (10) and the composite backing structure (14) result in a metal surface infused composite object when separated from the pattern (4), mold, or tool face (2).</p> |
