摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dressing device and a dressing method, keeping the length of a generating line of a cylindrical surface to a predetermined length even when dressing a slant in an inner surface grinding wheel having a slat and a cylindrical surface. SOLUTION: One end of the cylindrical surface 32 is provided with a step part, whereby the cylindrical surface 35 is formed of a first cylindrical surface 35 and a second cylindrical surface 36 having a smaller outline than the first cylindrical surface 35. When dressing the slant 31, the cylindrical surface 32 is dressed including the step part to form the cylindrical surface 32a without a step. Thus, every time the slant 31 is dressed, the cylindrical surface 32 is formed so that the generating line of the first cylindrical surface 35 is L, whereby the length of part grinding a first inside diameter surface (that is, the length of the generating line of the first cylindrical surface 35) can be kept to a fixed value L.
