<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain spray coating method capable of yielding a thin film stable in its coating thickness in the lateral and longitudinal directions of a coating target using a curtain spraying device, and a recording medium manufactured using this method. <P>SOLUTION: In the curtain spray coating method for applying a coating solution to the coating point on the coating target by allowing air to collide with the coating solution to form liquid droplets and spraying the liquid droplets using the curtain spraying device having a coating solution spray nozzle for supplying the coating solution to the coating target held and fed by a backup roll over the coating width in the direction crossing the feed direction of the coating target and an air nozzle for eject air in close vicinity to the orifice of the coating solution spray nozzle, at the time of coating, the flow speed at the orifice part of the coating solution spray nozzle, the wind velocity at the orifice part of the air nozzle and the wind velocity at the coating point has a relation of a specific formula (1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
