<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the jack stopper device of an upright piano, which assures appropriate operation of a jack and a hammer by keeping the stationary position of the jack at an appropriate position, and thereby, to properly maintain the sense of key touch and continuous hitting nature. <P>SOLUTION: The jack stopper device 10 of the upright piano, which stops the jack 13 for thrusting up and turning the hammer 3, when a key is depressed at a predetermined stationary position, when the key is released, comprises an immovable stationary member 29; and a stopper 31 provided in the stationary member 29, which stops the jack at a predetermined position, by locking the jack 13 which restores and turns, when the key is released. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
