<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable gain amplifier for improving an output voltage in the case of 1 dB gain compression by suppressing the deterioration of noise figure. <P>SOLUTION: A resistor 20 is connected between the drain/source of a field effect transistor 3 configuring a by-pass path 102, and a high frequency signal from the output side to input side of an amplification path 101 is fed back only by a predetermined value without deteriorating an impedance at the input side of the amplification path 101 so that it is possible to obtain a desired power gain, and to improve an output voltage in the case of 1 dB gain compression while suppressing the deterioration of the noise figure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
