BASE STATION, RADIO TERMINAL, AND RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make complicated processing for interference elimination unnecessary and to prevent a system throughput from degrading when an interference does not occur.

SOLUTION: A radio communication method is a method using an OFDMA system for upstream communication from a plurality of radio terminals to the base station; receives OFDM signals from the respective radio terminals; detects communication states of the respective radio terminals on the basis of mapping information indicating sub-carriers assignment to the respective radio terminals and signals received from the respective radio terminals; judges whether or not a null signal is assigned to a part of the sub-carriers assigned to the radio terminals; specifies a sub-carrier to be assigned when it is judged that it is to be assigned; and transmits null signal control information to be instructed to be assigned to the specified sub-carrier to the radio terminal.
