A Kimchi refrigerator using a variable volume type compressor is provided to store two foods having a different temperature band simultaneously in a storage room by proving upper and lower temperature gradients in each storage room, thereby reducing acidification of Kimchi and being able to store two foods having a different temperature band as well as one food in a storage room. In a Kimchi refrigerator comprising a body with a machine room and a plurality of storage rooms and a control panel for selecting a corresponding condition and storage mode by the kind of food to cool the storage room by the circulation of refrigerant by driving of a compressor, the compressor uses a variable volume type compressor. The control panel of the Kimchi refrigerator has a Kimchi storage hot key(152) for storing only Kimchi, a simultaneous storage hot key(153) for simultaneously storing Kimchi and vegetables and a vegetable storage hot key(154) for storing only vegetables. The temperature of the storage room is regulated by controlling the load of the variable volume type compressor by a preset control when an optional hot key of the hot keys is pressed. |
