A method for printing a label image of an optical disk is provided to print and record the disk information of recorded data and the information of a user by collecting various information, converting the information to a label image data, and printing and recording the information on a label surface of the light scribe disk as an image. Disk information is searched and read when performing finalization for a recordable optical disk(S10,S13). The read disk information is converted to an image data, and the image data is printed on a label surface of the recordable optical disk as an image(S14,S15).
