<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for mounting parts at the time of vacuuming the parts with a suction nozzle or at the time of mounting the vacuumed parts on a substrate while highly precisely controlling to an optional target load. <P>SOLUTION: The parts mounting method is for loading onto a predetermined portion of a substrate 1 with a loading head 10 by vacuuming the parts with a suction nozzle 20 having a suction end part 28 forced by a load applying means (elastic member 24) so as to be pushed in. A load sensor 50 is provided on the parts mounting apparatus so that the suction nozzle 20 mounted on the loading head 10 is lowered above the load sensor 50 for measuring the load with respect to the pushing amount. Based on the measurement result, an approximate curve formula representing the relationship between the pushing amount and the load is calculated and stored for controlling the load for obtaining a target load by calculating the pushing amount with respect to a set load using the stored approximate curve formula. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
