<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of imaging even when the irradiation conditions of flashlight are different. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a pair of light emitting sections which are arranged in symmetrical positions at the center of the optical axis of an imaging lens and which emit the flashlight almost equal in emitted light quantity and irradiation angle; and a pair of reflecting units in which incident light and outgoing light are almost parallel, the advancing directions are the same and the position of the outgoing light is changed with respect to the incident light. The imaging apparatus can be switched between: a first flash imaging mode in which a pair of reflecting units are retreated to positions where the flashlight emitted from the light emitting sections is hardly blocked and an object is irradiated with the flashlight emitted from the light emitting sections; and a second flash imaging mode in which a pair of reflecting units are moved to positions where incident openings for the reflecting units face the light emitting sections and the object is irradiated with the flashlight which is emitted from the light emitting sections and passes through the reflecting units in positions which are the symmetrical positions at the center of the optical axis of the imaging lens and further than those in the first flash imaging mode with respect to the optical axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
