<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display in a menu starting with an application program which requires larger work and time in the activation process when a menu for displaying the candidates of applications to be activated is displayed. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile terminal device 100 has a plurality of applications 102. A mobile terminal application selection support 121 monitors kinds of keys pressed down by a user and the frequency thereof and records them as a log before the activation of the application. Furthermore, while the menu is displayed, in the log recorded, the application which shows the history of the key operation matching the current key operation by the user is extracted as the application to be displayed on the menu.
