<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of a wireless access point reducing exhaustion of a battery of a wireless telephone terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A wireless LAN access point 3 transmits, if the operation mode of the wireless telephone terminal 2 is power saving mode, a terminal control packet which is periodically sent to a wireless telephone terminal 2 by a main apparatus 1 only when the first predetermined time passes after previous transmission.
