<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microstrip antenna of which the configuration is simple and which allows the radiation direction of radio wave beams to be varied, and the radiation power quantity from an antenna to be varied while maintaining the output of a microwave signal source in a stable state, so that the radio wave output excellent in stability can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: This microstrip antenna is provided with a substrate, a feeding element made of conductor thin film located on the substrate, non-feeding elements made of conductor thin film which are located in the same flat surface condition as the feeding element and located apart from the feeding element by a predetermined space between elements, a ground electrode provided on the substrate so that the feeding element is opposed to the non-feeding elements, and switches which are connected through a line with a predetermined length from the ground electrode to the non-feeding elements and such that the non-feeding elements can select connecting to or separating from the ground electrode, wherein phases of the non-feeding elements to that of the feeding element are advanced in any one condition and delayed in the other condition when the switches are changed, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
