<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily check a replacement page from a print result when replacement printing of a page, on which information writing to an IC chip fails, has been carried out. <P>SOLUTION: When print processing is started on rolled paper, to which the IC chip is attached, by a printer, it is determined whether an error occurs or not in information writing by an ID chip writing device (S1104). Then, first page information specifying a page area, in which occurrence of an error is determined, and second page information specifying a page area, in which printing is completed by the printer in occurrence of the error, are notified to a host computer (S1105). Recovery information generated by the host computer is acquired, and print resuming position of a storage medium is adjusted so that an information writing position in occurrence of the error becomes a print starting position (S1006).
