The present invention concerns a fluid circulation mat (1, 2, 3,...) and a thermal exchanger including at least one mat as per the invention. A mat (1, 2, 3) as per the invention is basically characterised in that it comprises at least two sheets (11, 12) made of a fluid-proof material, strutting means for keeping the two sheets at a distance in order to delimit a circulation space between the two sheets, these means constituted by a plurality of strutted needles (21) transversing the two sheets (11, 12) through apertures (13, 14) made in the sheets, means (31) for sealing the passage between the edge of the apertures and the lateral wall of the strutted needles, and means (32) for attaching the strutted needles (21) to the sheets (11, 12), said two sheets (11, 12) made of a single sheet (40) folded to form a fold (41). Another subject of the present invention is a method for making such a mat (1, 2, 3,...).
