摘要 <p>This invention provides a process for producing phosphor nanoparticles having a narrow fluorescence half-value width, and phosphor nanoparticles produced by the process. In particular, there is provided a process for producing phosphor nanoparticles, which comprise silicon or germanium regarded as a low-toxicity and environmentally-friendly material and have a narrow fluorescence half-value width. The production process comprises heating a reaction liquid within a microflow passage heated by external heating means to produce phosphor particles and is characterized in that the thickness of the microflow passage wall is 0.05 to 0.20 mm and the temperature rise rate of the reaction liquid which flows through the flow passage in the microflow passage is not less than 150°C/sec.</p>
