PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for tube insertion enabling the easy disposition of a tube for heat exchange in an existing pile at a position in proximity to the inner peripheral surface while preventing the tube from being brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the existing pile. SOLUTION: This spacer for holding the tube 3 at a predetermined position in the existing pile 2 by guiding the insertion of the tube 3 disposed on the existing pile 2 into the existing pile 2. The spacer comprises: a tube support member 4 annularly formed along the inner periphery of the existing pile 2 and inserted into the existing pile 2 while supporting the tube 3; and guide rings 5 vertically rotatably fitted to the tube support member 4, which is arranged parallel to the tube 3 to prevent the inner peripheral surface 2a of the existing pile 2 from being brought into contact with the tube 3, and which further project to the inner peripheral surface 2a side of the existing pile 2 than the tube 3.
