An irrigation/aspiration tip having a shaft with a reduced or relatively sma ll diameter with a distal tip having a relatively large diameter. The diameter of the shaft can vary depending upon the incision size preferred by the surgeon, and the diameter of the distal tip will vary depending upon the size of the phacoemulsificati on tip preferred by the surgeon.
