PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically detect an irrelevant event which is irrelevant to business and delete it from workflow.

SOLUTION: A value of an evaluation formula for determining an irrelevant event irrelevant to the business processing, which is extracted as a business event and is generated regardless of other business events related to the business processing is calculated by using generation probability of the business event and conditional probability. A business event class to be determined where the evaluation value is a predetermined threshold or smaller is identified, an event instance belonging to the event class is deleted from an original process instance, and a modified process instance is generated.
