<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain wide variety of visual effects, without having to replace members, and so on, in a display device and an electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes: a first light source 4; a light guide plate 5, with the first light source 4 disposed at its end face 5a which is a light-incident face, by which the optical path of light made incident from the first light source 4 and guided is changed and emitted in a planar form from the principal face; an outer cover member 6, which covers the upper face of the light guide plate 5 and having a light transmissive area 6a at least part of which is transparent or translucent; and a second power source 7, disposed below the light guide plate 5 and directly below the light transmissive area 6a and used to emit a light upward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
