<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoconductor bracket wherein all of the outermost surfaces of a plurality of abutting members have high straightness, transfer surfaces arranged from it match with a smooth surface in design with high accuracy, the transfer quality is extremely higher than the conventional art, and assembling is extremely easy, and to provide a photoconductor unit that has the photoconductor bracket and has high transfer quality. <P>SOLUTION: This photoconductor bracket comprises the plurality of long-sized abutting members that have outermost surfaces arranged to be positioned on the same smooth surface and are butted on a photoconductor of an optical transferring machine from the back by the smooth surface, and a pair of holding members for holding the plurality of abutting members from both end sides of the longitudinal direction of the long shape.
